Sprinkler Protection to New City Centre Restaurant & Club

CLIENT DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

FVS were contracted to install sprinkler protection to a newly refurbished ground floor restaurant and basement floor club in Manchester City Centre.

Working alongside fit out contractors we delivered an aesthetically pleasing sprinkler system on time and within budget. The system was designed in accordance with LPC Rules for Ordinary Hazard Protection achieving a design density of 5mm/min with 216m2 area of operation.

The Project

Aesthetics

Our client wanted the pipework to blend in with the interior so we choose exposed pipework in keeping with the industrial finish. The restaurant pipework was fabricated and finished in a white gloss paint and the basement club was a red oxide coordinating with the interior style.

We connected into the existing 100mm water supply fed from the towns mains, installed new pipework and fixings and standard response upright sprinkler heads. On completion of the installation the system was pressure tested and inspected by the LPC governing body. Being completely satisfied with the project the LPC issued a certificate of conformity which we issued along with our operation and maintenance manual.
